Junkyard - Junkyard

Another obscure, underrated band. Junkyard were a Heavy Metal/Glam Metal band who are very good but once again never received much commercial attention. This is their debut eponymous album released sometime in June in 1989.

Sometime in June 1984 Wrathchild released their debut album "Stakk Attakk". Another underrated band for the time who never got the commercial success that other bands managed to achieve.

Cats In Boots - Kicked & Klawed

Kicked & Klawed is the debut album for Cats In Boots, a Japanese/American Hair Metal/Sleaze band. The album managed to get to number 3 on the Japanese charts. The album was released sometime in mid 1989. It's a solid album with many good songs but unfortunately wasn't as commercially popular as other albums from more established Hair Metal bands at the time. A Very underrated album which is definitely worth a delve into.

On October the 17th in 1989 XYZ released their debut eponymous album. The album was an okay success charting at 99 in the US Billboard 200. The album featured two hits; "Inside Out" & "What Keeps Me Loving You".

Wake Me When It's Over is the 2nd studio album by the band Faster Pussycat. Slightly moving away from their previous Hair Metal sound and going into more of a Blues Rock influenced sound. Released on September the 6th in 1989. The album lasts for just over an hour and features the hit song "House Of Pain".

On February the 22nd in 1990 Damn Yankees released their eponymous debut album. Consisting of Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw (Styx), Jack Blades (Night Ranger) & Michael Cartellone (Accept & Lynyrd Skynyrd). The album managed to go double platinum. The release of this album helped to revive the career of Ted Nugent.
